Dr. Grace Dorado

Dr. Grace Dorado was a military brat growing up and lived in California, Japan and Rhode Island. She’s lived in NE Florida since 1973, going to schools at the Beach and in Orange Park. She did her undergraduate studies at FJC and UNF. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, in 1991.

Her passion is children and contact lenses. With all the new contact lens technology available and with experience, she feels like it’s been easier to fit contacts nowadays. She enjoys seeing patients at her independent office locate inside Visionworks at the St. Johns Town Center.

Dr. Grace is a member of the local Northeast Florida Optometric Society, the Florida Optometric Society and American Association of Optometrist. On her free time, she likes to hunt for sharks’ teeth, relax in her pool and work in the garden.

Dr. Natalie A Knabb

Optometrist

We are pleased to announce the addition of Natalie A. Knabb, O.D., to our eye care team! Dr. Knabb, a board-certified optometrist, began her training at University of California Santa Barbara with a BA in Biology and continued on to Nova Southeastern College of Optometry, graduating with a Doctorate of Optometry in 2010. Dr. Knabb’s special interests include primary eye care, pediatrics, specialty contact lens fittings, pre- and post-operative care of cataract and refractive surgery patients, and emergency eye care. Currently, she sees patients at the Visionworks at Town Center in Jacksonville.

It's an honor to work alongside her- I look forward to continuing to bring outstanding, high-quality eye care to our patients.  I enjoy working alongside experienced physicians who pride themselves on attention to detail and top-notch patient care.”

Prior to joining Visionworks at Town Center, Dr. Knabb worked at Baker Vision Care, PRA Health Science, the Lasik Vision Institute, and has over 15 years of work experience in retail commercial optometry. 

When she’s not working, Dr. Knabb enjoys the outdoors – hiking, swimming, and boating with her husband and 10 yr old daughter Keira. She also loves watching a good movie and has recently taken up cooking.
